What do you think is the longest safe length for a Konnect cable? I have an application where it would be useful to have it 10 feet from the Kflop.

Sorry I don't have a definitive answer.  It would depend on your environment  The test here at a little over 7ft was intended to be a worst case scenario:

10 ft would probably be pushing your luck in a noisy environment.  I believe they make shielded ribbon cable that may help.
